The Right Business at the Right Time

Consider this: How different would our 20th century lives be without the automobile or the personal computer? These discoveries led to unprecedented individual wealth for those entrepreneurs and investors who got in first and introduced these(now) necessities to others. The next big thing of the 21st century has begun, and it promises to similarly revolutionize our lives and offer opportunities for tremendous wealth building over the next 10 years, says Paul Zane Pilzer, economist and author of five best-selling books, including The Wellness Revolution.

The world-renowned wellness expert likens the wellness industry to an economic opportunity boon: "We are not talking about a fad or trend; we are talking about a new and infinite need infusing itself into the way we eat, exercise, sleep, work, save, age and almost every other aspect of our lives. This next big thing is the Wellness Revolution."

Experts say the Wellness Revolution couldn't happen at better time. In an economy where people are looking for more financial security, many people are more receptive to hearing about business opportunities in the wellness industry. Personal finance guru Robert Kiyosaki, author of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad book series, is a strong proponent of business opportunities in the network marketing or direct selling industry."Today people need new ideas and systems via which they can find the financial security our parents once had. One answer is network marketing," Kiyosaki says. "It is the perfect business for people who like helping other people."

And what better way to help other people than by helping them improve their health and well-being? The wellness industry affects almost ever aspect of our lives and will achieve $1 trillion in sales in coming years, Pilzer says. "The wellness industry is solving one of the few remaining mysteries of human existence-age and vitality-on which technlogy has yet to make its mark."

But the wellness industry is different from a related industry based on some of the same technology-the current U.S. trillion dollar healthcare industry.

Pilzer writes: "Approximately one-sixth of the U.S economy is devoted to what is erroneously called the healthcare business. Healthcare is a misnomer, as this one-sixth of the economy is really devoted to the sickness business----defined as "ill health;illness; a disordered, weakened, or unsound condition; or a specific disease."

But Pilzer projects that in the coming years, an additional $500 billion of the U.S economy will be devoted to the still relatively unknown, but already $500 billion, wellness business---defined as the "the quality or state of being in goo health, especially as an actively sought goal."

In any industry based on new technology, the greatest entrepreneurial fortunes are consistently made by those who distribute products and services rather than by those who make them," he says. "Wellness is that industry. Never before has a business opportunity had the potential to have such an incredibly positive impact on the lives of its customers."

And positively impacting others is what network marketing companies within the wellness industry are helping achieve. "Network marketing has proven itself to be a viable and rewarding source of income," Kiyosaki says. "Network marketing is a revolution simply because, for the first time in history, it is now posible for anyone and everyone to share in the wealth that, up to now, has been reserved only for the chosen few or the lucky. Not anymore. Network marketing is building wealth for anyone willing to work and succeed.
